The fact that Avant is responsible for processing primarily means that it is Avant that has responsibility and obligations under the Personal Data Act.

If Avant chooses another company to be responsible for processing personal data, i.e. data about you, we call it a data processor. In cases where we use data processors, we must ensure that we have entered into data processor agreements that regulate how the data processor can process data that is made available. The standard for this is that the agreement with the data processor may only process personal data on behalf of Avant and for clearly defined purposes, as required by the regulations on the processing of personal data.

HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?

Most of the data we have about you is data generated when you use some of our services. Examples of this can be; page views and information about your device (PC, mobile, tablet).

  1. Information you yourself share with us
    When you use a form, you will provide some data that will be stored with us. This information is stored in our databases, because we need to be able to respond to your contact request.
  2. Information collected through use of the services
    When you use our services, we will record information about which services you use and how you use them. We do this because we then have the opportunity to improve the user experience, service content, prevent fraud and adapt content and advertisements to your usage and interest patterns.
  3. Information from other sources
    We receive information from other sources, such as advertising networks, customers, targeting tools or other third parties, which will help us or them understand user patterns, your preferences or generally improve the services we offer to be more adapted to your needs and interests.

HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION WE HAVE COLLECTED ABOUT YOU?

We have collected all personal data we have collected to understand and improve our services and products, so that you will have the best user experience on our websites.

Avant works continuously to give you, the user, the best possible experience of our services, which are available at all times. To be able to do that, we use, among other things, personal data that we have collected.

    Avant processes personal data and other forms of data to deliver the services agreed with you. We also use data to ensure the best possible user experience for you through automatic login, adaptation of the content display to your screen and the fastest possible loading of the pages.
  2. For statistics and to understand market trends
    We compile statistics and map market trends to improve and further develop our websites.
  3. To personalize services – services specially adapted to you
    We want to give you the opportunity to get tailored content and customizations. We do this by using data about your user behaviour, your preferences or other available information.
  4. This can tell us something about your needs and wishes, so that we can, for example, remove matters you have already read from the front page or overviews of recommended articles, and we can give you recommendations about content or services based on what you have read or bought. We also provide recommendations based on what other users with similar usage patterns to you have read.

INFORMATION ABOUT MARKETING IN EMAIL AND SMS

If you have an active customer relationship with Avant, we will be able to send you marketing by e-mail or other electronic communication methods within the framework of the Marketing Act, unless you have asked us otherwise. If you do not have an active customer relationship with us, we will only send such marketing if you have given us explicit and informed consent.

HOW IS THIS INFORMATION SHARED?

In some cases, we also share information with partners who use the information to convey targeted content and/or offers through their services. We then enter into agreements that limit access to use of the information and establish obligations to comply with applicable privacy legislation.

If there is a suspicion that an offense has been committed in connection with the use of services, the information can be disclosed to public authorities on request.

We will not share, sell or disseminate personal data in any other way than described in this privacy policy.

CORRECTION AND DELETE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

It is important that the information we have collected about you is correct and up-to-date. If you discover errors, we encourage you to contact us so that the information can be corrected. You can also contact us if you want the information to be deleted.

We will not store personal data for longer than is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing and statutory duties we have, for example in accordance with accounting legislation.

OUR ANALYTICS AND THIRD-PARTY TOOLS

Avant uses analysis tools to collect information about how our services are used. We use Google Analytics, where we measure, among other things, the number of visitors, which pages are visited, how long a visit lasts and the like.

Statistics about users and traffic are most often used and applied in anonymized form, so that the statistics do not contain any kind of information that can be linked directly to you as an identified person. The statistics can nevertheless form the basis for marketing aimed at selected target groups. The data collected is stored on Google’s servers and deleted after 24 months. if you have not returned to the website during this period.
